A little over a year ago one of my beautiful friends got married. After her wedding we decided to take a little trip to Mount Lemon, AZ and do some fun bridal shots. Mount Lemon is one of my favorite places in Arizona, it is so beautiful! It was such a wonderful day driving up the mountain and stopping at different spots to take pictures! We found this small little waterfall and so what was supposed to be a bridal shoot was turning into a trash the dress shoot (she didnt mind getting her dress a bit dirty or wet) and it was well worth it... take a look...

For Sarah's Senior Portraits we took a drive up to Flagstaff. It was so refreshing to have new scenery to work with! I loved photographing around the big tall tree's and the fields and we even found a lake!! It was such a nice change of scenery! One of Sarah's favorite things to do is swim so of course we had to get her in the lake! Those are some of my favorite pictures from the shoot! She was a blast to work with! Here is a Family Portrait that was done in October of last year for Holiday Portraits! Mykel wanted to do something a little different and something that fit their family well! I love it when my clients think outside of the box and instead of doing the typical pictures they want to try something different! Love it! We found some abondoned buildings to do their photos at and I feel like it all fit perfectly with the graffiti and the rustic/old look! Hope you enjoy the pics!!

Williams Wedding

I photographed this wedding back in November 2010. This was for sure one of the most calm wedding's I have ever photographed! The weather was PERFECT and the day went SO smoothly from start to finish, it was wonderful! Paul and Dezirae are one of the sweetest couples I know! This Engagement shoot was definitely an adventure! We started out in Mesa at the River! We were so bummed to drive up there and find most of the gates locked to a lot of the areas. But we were able to find an area to take some pictures by the water! We decided to head to Tucson for the rest of the photoshoot! Paul & Dezirae are one of the sweetest couples I know and I really enjoyed taking their Engagement Portraits! During the summer I took a trip to California! I am originally from Northern California and I decided it was time to go back and visit my hometown friends that I have missed dearly! Marissa has been my best friend since we were in the 5th grade! Even after I moved to Arizona we kept in close touch. She even came out to AZ to visit me a few times! Marissa has an adorable son named Mason! This was my first time getting to meet him and boy does that kid have some crazy energy! We were chasing him all over the place at the park! I absolutley love these two with all of my heart! Mason is my Godson and I look forward to watching him grow up! Marissa is such an amazingly strong mother and person! Celina is a highschool student that wanted to get some good photos of herself just for fun! For the locations she wanted to do something with fields and a broken down building, those are 2 of my favorite locations! We found an awesome corn field to shoot in, with not so awesome masquitos everywhere! Haha! So we ended up finding a palm tree field that was much nicer to us! Meet Kelli & Mark.. at this time they were anxiously awaiting the arrival of there baby boy! I met Kelli in highschool in sign language class! She is one of the sweetest people I know and I was so excited to photograph her in one of the most exciting times of her life! While out on our shoot driving around from one location to another I was asking Kelli and Mark all kinds of questions about there life and I really enjoyed getting to know both of them better! They are such a fun couple!
By now they have had there adorable baby boy and they are doing an amazing job at being new parents! I cant wait to share Kolten's newborn photos but till then enjoy the maternity pics...

I went to my hometown in Northern California in April and decided to schedule some photoshoots while I was there! I went to highschool with Erinn and actually played basketball with and against her! It was so fun catching up and talking about the good ol days! She is such a sweet girl and Im so glad that she doesnt hate me from our basktball days, I was super competive and not the nicest to play against! haha! Glad she has forgiven me! :)
Erinn and Tony are one of the most adorable couples I have photographed! They are so sweet together and genuinely happy people! They were so easy to work with and had complete trust in me as their photographer! They had just purchased a home together that they were dying to get some new pictures of them up on their walls! I had such a fun time with Sarah! Sarah has the prettiest blonde hair and blue eyes! Im still catching up on blogging all my Senior Portraits from a couple months ago! I loved how a lot of these pictures came out and I think the locations that were chosen fit perfectly for her! Most photoshoots I try to at least find one new location to use! That can be really hard at times! For Jordans photoshoot we went out to some old railroad tracks for one of the locations. They definitly are not used anymore and I use railroad tracks pretty often, so it was nice to switch it up and find the same thing that still had a different look to it. Hope you enjoy the photos!

The day of Michelle's Senior Portraits it was raining on and off and really cloudy!! We were so happy to see the sun come out during the shoot! I have known Michelle and her family for a couple of years now. Michelle was a lot of fun to photograph and up for anything! Its been sooo long since I have blogged a photoshoot! I have been traveling a lot latley and havent had much time to post photos on here, but Im going to try my hardest to get all caught up!!
A couple months back I took some headshots for Britney and then we did her Senior Portaits! This girl was SO fun to photograph and SO pretty!! Britney is a cheerleader, so we got a few fun shots of her with her pom poms and cheer outfit and the headed out to some broken down buildings and out into the desert to do the rest of her Senior Portraits! Back from Vacation and First Ever Band Photos!!

Im BACK! Its been a while since I have given my blog any attention! I just got back from my vacation tuesday night and I have been playing catch up with emails and photos all week. So here I am finally blogging this photoshoot! I have been excited to show you this photoshoot for a while now because its one of my first ever attempts at Band Photography.
The Band is Called "Hit The Ground Running"! I happen to know these lovely people personally and they are AWESOME outside of their AMAZING talent that they have, they are just pretty great people! You might recognize Joy, I photographed her senior portraits a couple months back! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this group! They were a blast to photograph and Im pretty sure I went home with my face hurting cause they kept me laughing the ENTIRE photoshoot! I was suprised I got any serious photos of them. The Galle Family is one of the sweetest family's that I know! I didn't know this family till we met at the location for their family shoot and its always somewhat nerve-racking meeting people for the first time and then have to take their photographs, but this family didnt make me feel nervous at all! Oh how I love little babys!! Meet Zaiden & Luciann.. TWINS!! Last year sometime I took Ashli's Maternity photos and we took them super early on because we knew towards the end she was going to be feeling really uncomfortable! Anissa and her little dude {Family Portraits}

Here is another family session that I did around the beggining of March! Anissa and I were having such a hard time getting these photos scheduled and done. One day we were re-scheduling because of rain and then we finally meet and I start taking pictures and her poor little one slid right through a huge muddie puddle! lol. Poor guy! So we rescheduled again [ = We finally got together and finished up her family portraits and she brought her neice along for a few pictures as well! It was so fun watching her son run all around the playground and try and be sneeky and get good photos of him! He was not a fan of my camera but did really well and we got some good shots! Here is another Family Session I did a couple of weeks back on a beautiful Arizona Day! My idea of a Beautiful Arizona day is when there are clouds in the sky and its slightly cold outside! I am a Northern California girl! Living here for almost 5 years I am still not used to this heat and I still dislike it very very much! [ = I love cold weather and being buddled up! Anyways, this beautiful Arizona day made me fee like we were in California and I loved that.
Luke was full of energy and ready for me to work hard! lol. Sarah and Luke were a lot of fun to photograph and I love the way the photos came out! I think you can really see the mother and son love in these photos and thats what I really wanted to capture! I hope you enjoy these photos..

Soooo today is my Birthday!! I am oficially 22!! woohooo! Yesterday I opened up my front door to see these BEAUTIFUL flowers! They were sent by my Grandma for my Birthday! They are SO Beautiful I just had to share a few pictures! It has been a wonderful week with lots of suprises! Sunday my husband and I went and purchased what I was really really wanting for my birthday present, I got a new CANON 7D! I am so SO excited about having a new camera!! I used it today for a Senior Portrait session and I cant wait to show you the photos! Ok moving on..

Montijo Family Portraits

I got the opportunity to take the Montijo's FIRST family portraits! They are such a sweet and fun family, and there little boy is awesome! I love it how kids like to keep photographers on their toe's! Because I dont shoot in a studio and I do ALL on location photography when it comes to photographing children, not being in a studio makes it more difficult! I personally think cause the kids take it more seriously and they are freaked out cause everyone is staring at them telling them to constantly smile in a studio! haha.
When you go to a location they think its free for them to go and do whatever they want, and honestly I like it that way! Its a little more of struggle because they dont want to sit still so you are constantly running around after them! But that is exactly what I like to capture through my lense. The freedom and their personality! Some may argue this and that's totally ok. If you are looking for a photographer who wants your kids to stay put and do nothing but smile big then Im probably not the photographer for you, and thats ok. We all have different styles. I hope you enjoy these photos, thank you Montijo Family for putting up with my crazy ideas (as in putting your kid in a laundry basket, hahaha) You guys were a blast!!

Model Shoot Preview

Last friday I enjoyed a fun model shoot! These girls are SO beautiful! They had there make-up done by the lovely Cortney Staples! She did such and AWESOME job on the girls make-up! Veronica & Arthur {Married}

This day sure was interesting! haha Woke up with pouring rain outside! Which Ill be honest made me panic a bit since we were supposed to have all the portraits done outside! While Veronica was getting ready I wanted to make sure she was calm and not worried about a thing! The sun started to come out which made me super happy and I new it was going to be ok. By the time we got to the church it was raining again! So basically the rain was OFF and ON the entire day! So frustrating! lol.
The wedding was beautiful! Veronica and Arthur had a HUGE bridal party! It was awesome to see so many people there to support and to celebrate their marriage with them! Very cool! After all the Family Portraits were done we came out of the church to find that the rain had stopped! I was thrilled! We drove out to Picacho Peak which felt like forever cause I was so scared we were going to run out of sun! It ended up working out just lovely!! We got all the picture we needed and headed to the reception for them to celebrate with their friends and family!!

This is a different post then usual. This post is personal and close to home for me! I want to talk about a personal story and why I feel compelled to pray for this little girl and her family. Very long post! If you dont have time to read it all skip down to the bottom. thats most important part! lol..

First of all I was raised by my Grandparents. I was so very blessed to have them take me and my brother into there home when my mom couldnt give us a home! I didnt always feel blessed because being a little girl I wanted a "normal" family, whatever that is? lol. Being raised by older people your limited, they cant do as much as younger parents could. Ever since I could remember my grandpa was in and out of the hospital. It first started with back surgery's. My grandpa was a carpenter and messed up his back pretty bad. Then he started having heart-attacks which was the worst for me to see! When I was little I thought that ment you were going to die and in some cases it does but my Grandpa probably had about 5 heart-attacks, maybe more, and survived them all. It was a constant emotional roller coaster, wondering if this was it and if I needed to say my good bye's! I remember waking up in the middle of the night seeing ambulance lights all throughout my room coming from outside. When i went into the living room there were a ton of people in the house and my grandpa was laying down on something to carry him out. He kept telling my grandma on his way out to the ambulance, "You make sure she gets to school and she makes it to her basketball practice"! I couldnt believe thats what he was worrying about right after he just had a heart-attack! He was the most un-selfish caring and supportive man I have ever known!
We moved to Arizona my Junior year of highschool because they wanted to settle down more and get my grandma better situated in case something were to happen to my grandpa. It was extremely hard for me leaving behind the town I grew up in, I loved my friends and my basketball team and my life in general! My senior year of highschool we found out that my Grandpa had lung cancer! When I first found out I chose not to deal with it and really believe it! It was WAY to much for me to handle and I was such a selfish little 17 year old! It started to really sink in after I started driving him to his cancer treatment appointments! I would sit in the waiting room and see all these people coming in and out of the office sick and coming to get there treatment! Thats when I realized that it was real and that I could really lose him to Cancer! I ended up quitting basketball which was extremely hard for me because I knew I was giving up my dream of playing in college.
A couple of months before I graduated highschool my Grandpa had another heart-attack and was in the hospital for about a week. The weekend he got out my Grandma had a series of strokes. I have never seen my Grandma weak and not in control of everything! She has always been the strong one out of everyone! I witnessed the entire thing and it was incredibly difficult to see her go through this! She lost part of her hearing temporarly and speaking! I am not a fan of hospitals! They terrify me, still to this day I can barely go in one unless I absolutley have too!
If you have read this far thanks for sticking it out!
To make this story shorter. My Aunts and Uncles came to the house for a month and helped out with my Grandparents. They decided they need to move them closer to them and that they would be moving them to Oklahoma after I graduated highschool! My grandpa was very sick because of all the medication and didnt make it to my graduation! We moved to Oklahoma and I stayed for 2 weeks and I moved back to Arizona because I was engaged and wanted to marry my husband as soon as possible! After I had moved back to AZ I got a phone call from my grandma excited telling me that the doctors couldnt find anymore cancer that it was gone! It was such a huge relief to me! My Grandpa didnt end up making it to my wedding but afterwards Jeramy and I made a visit to OK and spent a couple of days with them and I really enjoyed my time! My Grandpa was so joyful and fun to be around! Im really thankful some of the last memorys with him are those! A year later he passed peacefully!
This photo was taken a week before he passed away..

I believe a HUGE part of why my grandpa survived his heart-attacks and cancer was because of prayer! Anytime something happened we would tell our church and I would email everyone of my friends and there parents telling them to pray for him! I believe the power of prayer is STRONG and the reason I am writing this is for this little girl and her family.

Im not sure if you have heard Kate's story but you can go to her website www.prayforkate.com and get a little background on what is going on with her there! Kate is a 6 year old little girl who is battling against an aggressive brain tumor! Kate has just checked back in to the hospital for her 6th and most intense round of chemotherapy treatment. I cant imagine how her parents feel and even how she feels at this point! Im sure its a roller coaster of emotions that they are going through and they NEED prayer! There sweet girl NEEDS prayer!
Kate desperately needs a miraculous healing that Jesus can bring to her body!

This girl is Absolutley Beautiful! I happen to LOVE Senior Portraits probably more then anything else! Your at such a fun stage in your life, so much change happening! Its fun to hear about what there plans are for the future and what there dreams are after highschool!
Amanda and I decided to do her photoshoot outside of Casa Grande. Other then the town we didnt really have locations set. We drove around and stopped at a bunch of random locations that we both loved! We found this BEAUTIFUL field of yellow flowers! What was even more perfect is that she had brought a yellow shirt for her second outfit! It was such a fun suprise to find! You dont usually find pretty fields here in AZ.. or at least this was the first one that I found! So FUN! Get ready to view A LOT of photos! Enjoy...

Stella (Just for Fun)

Last Saturday Stella and I got together to do some location scouting. She is also a Photographer! We decided to do a little get together once a month to go location scouting in different areas and so this was our first attempt. We chose to find areas around Casa Grande and since she is from Maricopa I was more familiar with the area.. but we decided to go somewhere I hadnt even been. over THE tracks! haha. It was a little spooky going over the tracks downtown. I had shot many times at the tracks and on our side but I had never gone over. It was definitly an interesting time! We had a lot of fun and I feel like we did find some good spots and I wont be as afraid to go over there now that I have already done it! Here are her lovely photos..

After the photoshoot we met up with a bunch of photographers for dinner. It was such a good time asking questions ans laughing about certain circumstances we have been put in! Im excited about next months meet up because its in Maricopa and I would love to know of some locations there! Its going to be a good time! And this time all the other photographers are going to meet up with us and take and get there picture taken [ = Fun Fun!

Sara (Just for Fun)

Ever have a really bad day? Like so bad to the point you just want to crawl up into your bed and stay there forever? Well this was one of those days! Sara and I had to reschedule this shoot over and over again because of the wonderful rain we were having! I love the rain but not when I cant go out and take pictures! lol. Well finally the day the shoot was scheduled it was clear out and slightly overcast which was perfect! I was having one of the worst days EVER and really needed something to cheer me up and make me feel better! I had an awful headache but really wanted to go through with this shoot, there was no-way I was rescheduling AGAIN! haha.
Im SO glad that we went through with the shoot! It was EXACTLY what I needed to cheer me up and it did just the trick! It was a great time and the photos turned out AWESOME! Sara is a beautiful and talented young girl making her way into the photography world! Sara took a few pictures of me while we were out and about and I will have a few of those up here soon! For now enjoy these photos...

Its another Lovely Tuesday! I have been working hard on my office for the past month! Trying to re-arrange and get it organized and pretty! I still have a few things I want to get done like paint and either put art on the wall above my laptop or my photos (still undecided). So far I am really loving the way it looks! I feel like it fits me well and thats what I was going for! I wanted it to look like MY office, not just a work space! There ar a lot of personal touches in here that I really love! WELCOME to my home office..

~Baby Iselle~ Newborn

The older I get the more and more I want a baby! My husband and I both feel that at this time we are not ready for a baby but MAN OH MAN, the more I see these cute little baby faces the more my maternal insticts kick in and I have to talk myself out of the idea! haha. Im only 21 years old so I have plenty of time to wait it out...My in laws would beg to differ that! haha.
This little one is just TOO cute! Iselle was very chill the entire photoshoot and such a joy to photograph! I really couldnt believe how long she would let me take pictures, I could have been there all day with the patient she had! Her brother and sister were so sweet as well. Every time I took a break from shooting for a clothing change I would either have a new drawing in my hand that they made me or they would be telling me ALL about their favorite video game! This family is just to cute!!

Here is another edition of "Lovely Tuesdays"!! Can you believe its already February? January was full of some many changes, I could hardly keep up!! My goals in January were to finish my 2010 prices and wedding packages and to finish updating my office! So excited to say that I finished my priceing and wedding packages! Those 2 alone were difficult. I am by far the worst math person out there. haha. Working on my pricing gave me headaches just about every evening. So I am more then glad to be done with that! I have not completed my office yet, I still have a few finishing touches, mostly getting some pictures printed and everything nice and organized! Excited to get that done!
January was a good month but Im looking forward to February! This month Im going to be photographing my first wedding of 2010 and I have lots of awesome of photoshoots booked! Also in the works is a Give-a-way! Who doesnt love Give-a-ways?? Since I reached 500 fans on facebook I decided to do a little something something in celebration! lol. So keep your eyes out for that. Newborn Session {Lily}

This baby girl was absolutley BEAUTIFUL! This is my very FIRST Newborn Session! I was super nervous cause I am never around babys and honestly wasnt sure exactly how to do a Newborn Session. lol. Lily's mom had great faith in me though! We had lots of ideas for the photos but were cut short because Lily wasnt exactly sure about me being up in her face with a camera.. haha. totally understandable! But I did get some great shots, I mean how could I not look at how PRECIOUS she is! Im thankful Lily was nice enough to give me about 10-15min to photograph her! It was a successful shoot! ~Lovely Tuesdays~

Tuesdays have become even lovelier! Not sure if thats a word but it is now! haha. So my work schedule has shifted so I can have more time to put towards my photography business. I now have tuesdays off of work! So im loving Tuesdays even more then before! Im still using it as a work day but I'll be in my home office comfy in my pjs! woohoo!

Well January 20th was mine and my husbands 3 year wedding Anniversary! We decided to make a small trip up to Payson and keep it simple! I love Payson! They have one of my all time favorite restraunts there! On the drive up we stopped at this place (before Globe I believe). We have drove by this place quite a few times and have always wanted to stop but never got a chance so we decided too! We just saw it as a mountain area with picnic tables so we thought it was a simple walk! Well we drove in and it was an actual Park! We payed for parking and they had all these trails you could go on! Jeramy and I were not prepared! AT ALL! We both had flip flops on! haha
We went on at least a mile hike. It was really pretty but my feet were killing me at the end. I enjoyed taking pictures of the cactus and flowers, I dont take pictures of things like that often. I took about 250 before we left! haha Here are some photos..

We decided to head to Payson and go straight to our hotel to get ready for dinner! If you ever go to Payson MAKE SURE you go to Fargo's! Its sooo yummy! I would stay all day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I could!! Well they dont serve breakfast but if they did Im sure it would be good!! haha. Here is the photo our waitress took of us at dinner.. (my hubby is SO handsome)

afterwards we saw the movie Leap Year and then just kicked back at the hotel the rest of the evening..

The next day we had a really good breakfast at Knotty Pines Cafe and then did some Antique Shopping! I was so excited to get a few different antique cameras! We found 3 the our first stop!

The rest of the day was spent driving up in the mountains and taking pictures and just enjoying the day. We even stopped at a park on our way home and made friends with a bunch of ducks! haha We both had a wonderful time! Here are the rest of the pictures..

THESE GIRLS!! haha. These girls are what I like to call entertaining! VERY entertaining! There was never a dull moment during this photoshoot! These 4 girls went to highschool together and since highschool they have been spread out going to different colleges. They were all home during winter break and wanted to get some photos done together. These girls are GOOFY! I dont know how I did it, but I did manage to get some serious faces out of them. They all had different personalities and beauty in their own way...

Norma's Family Portraits

Hey! Im back in business! In case you did not see the post before this my laptop died on me last Friday and we had to order our laptop from Best Buy and it didnt arrive till yesterday! It was a long LONG week with out having a computer let me tell you! I did a lot of cleaning and organizing to keep myself busy throughout the week and I watched a lot of tv! SO happy to be able to get some much needed work done!

Let me introduce to you Normas Family! I really enjoyed everything about this family session! The locations we chose I really loved and her family just took direction so well and trusted me! It was an awesome shoot! It started off a little rocky when one of the little boys decided he didnt want to take pictures! haha. He only caused a little trouble..he calmed down and smiled for the camera after they bribed him with ice cream and cake and everything and anything you can think of! haha. j/k check out the photos and let me know what you think!

My luck has not been so good latley with many things. First we thought our Heater broke in our home. Then our washer and dryer started messing up our clothes and NOW on Friday my laptop completly pooped out on me! Well this has got to stop here! haha.
My new washer and dryer comes TODAY! So excited! Never thought that I would be this excited for a washer and dryer, but I am! I have been counting down the days. Now I am counting down the days for my laptop to arrive! It should be here by Friday!
Their will be no blogging for a whie due to the lack of computer! But you can expect me to have many post soon after my laptop arrives! Jeramy and I had a wonderful weekend celebrating our 3 year anniversary so their will be lots of photos to share! Tommorow is the day I will be officially married for 3 years! So fun!

Pretty Lady!!

This photoshoot was totally spur off the moment. It was a rainy day and Kim and I were texting back and forth about ideas for photos that she wanted to do. I had a photoshoot that day but it got canceled due to the rain! So randomly she sent me a text saying "come over and we will do the photos in my room today"! haha. So fun!
She wanted to get photos done for her husband and make him a little book for his birthday! Kim is such a beautiful women and I loved photographing her!
I am not at all an indoor photographer, I always use natural light! So doing these photos inside with no window light was new to me! All I used was my attachable flash and I think it worked out great! Isnt her room the cutest ever?

HELLO!

I dont make many appearances on my blog and I feel like because its a new year its time to change that! I have decided to have a weekly blog update about whatever is going on in my life and since Tuesday is my favorite day of the week its perfect! I think its important to document your life and be able to look back on the memory's.. So here we gooooo.. [ =

Ok, So I have a New Years Resolution. Well more then one, but im only willing to state one at the moment! Drink more water. It sounds so simple but to me water is my enemy..haha. ok not really but I just dont think about drinking water. I ALWAYS want a sugary drink or sometihng with some good flavor and water is WAY to boring for me! But I know that its good for me and I know that I really need to drink it! So that is ONE of my New Years Resolutions... have you fallen asleep yet? You are probably thinking she needs to stick to putting up pictures on here! haha.

This weekend my husband and I are going on a little trip up to Payson! Im super excited for this trip! I love little get-aways and this one is going to be even more special then others because we are celebrating 3 YEARS of Marriage! I cant even believe how fast the time has gone by! We started out living with his parents then we got our own little apartment and a year later we bought our own home! Its been a wonderful 3 years and Im so blessed to have such a wonderful guy to call my best friend and husband!!

Meet the Lehmans! This if a fun family portrait shoot that was downtown by the tracks. When I first started out I photographed by railroad tracks all the time and its been a good while since I have been there so it was nice re-visiting!

So I called them quickly and we decided to just run up the street to another location. Oh boys! lol. My friend Tonya wanted some pictures of just her boys so we went out to the old Museum. Pj who is the older one was trying to convince me the entire time that the Museum was haunted! As they were leaning up against the blue door a lady came from inside and opened it and scared the heck out of them! haha. He was trying to scare me and in the end spooked him and his brother! Too funny! These two were fun to photograph and their was never a dull moment!

Schade Family Portraits

For the past couple of weeks I have been sick. I had 2 full days of being healthy and then WAM(yes I just said WAM) haha, I was sick again! Its been so frustrating! Im having such a busy season and to be sick is just the worst time ever! But thankfully it hasnt been too horrible and I have been able to work right through it! I have really enjoyed this crazy busy time! Before November I had photographed maybe 2-3 Family Portrait Sessions and now my portfolio is overflowing with them (which makes me happy)! Its been wonderful meeting new people and photographing all these different people and there awesome personalitys! I love seeing the Holiday Cards with my photos being used! There is just something about it, knowing all of their family is enjoying the pictures and hanging them on there Refrigerator!

I absolutley LOVE getting Christmas cards from my family! Its so hard to see everyone throughout the year and I can always look forward to getting a picture around Christmas to see all the little ones getting older or new additions to the family! Well, moving on... This is the Schade family!! I met Jackie doing a photo job for the magazine I work for! She is one of the sweetest people I have worked with and she totally trusted me throughout the enire shoot! It was a blast! Her little boys had 2 WAY different personalitys and they were awesome!! We brought an umbrella in case of rain but instead just got a super overcast day which made for awesome lighting! love that! check them out..

Meza Family Portraits

Here is a super fun shoot from a couple weeks ago! This is my boss and her 2 kids! She is one of the owners of the Pinal County Lifestyles Magazine! I have shot at this location one time before and loved it! Im pretty sure its a historic building here in casa grande (i may be wrong) but its just a really neat building! I love, love, LOVE brick buildings! They are sooo beautiful and everytime I go visit my grandma in Oklahoma I enjoy just driving around the neighborhood looking at all the pretty brick houses! This little family was lots of fun to photograph, and dont you just love the outfits? When they pulled up they were all decked out in plaid! Enjoy!

Nicole and Brooke (Sister Shoot)

These girls were way to much fun to photograph! This shoot consisted of leaves thrown in the air, piggy back rides, hide and seek, and nicole carrying brooke on her shoulders. All of these things made for some pretty good laughs! We enjoyed the winter weather and even stopped in at Urban Outfitters on our way through Mill taking random photos, It was hard for us to leave and continue with the shoot! We could have spent all day in Urban Outfitters. I have known these sisters for a while now and it wasnt till I got them in front of my camera to see the different personality's they have! Looking at these girls you wouldnt think they are sisters but they are so beautiful in there own way... Since we were making a day out of the photos I took a lot of indiviuals of them also...

Have I ever told you how much I LOVE Birds?

I love all things with Birds! I have all kinds of Decor with Birds in my home and I especially love taking pictures of Birds.

The other day I was on my way home, pretty bummed out from a day of stress! I had my music up loud and the windows rolled down..There were lots of clouds in the sky and the sun was setting, I look over and see A TON of Birds Flying Beautifully into the sunset and it gave me peace. I could barely look away, I was completley mesmerized by Gods creation! Then I thought, this would be an amazing picture!!! Quickly I thought it through and decided I didnt need to crash my vehicle in attempt to capture this moment because It was already captured in my heart! I love that God showed me exactly what my heart needed!

Even though I do not have pictures from that evening to show you and I do have other recent photos I have taken that I really love! I was photographing a sister shoot(photos coming soon) and randomly I would yell out BIRDS and snap a picture! haha

Engaged: Tina & John!

You know you have the best job in the world when your clients bring you a thank you card and some Cinnimon Rolls! Tina & John are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met! I went to highschool here in Casa Grande with Tina and she went off to college in Texas and met John. They are getting married in Oklahoma in May! These two are so adorable together, I loved spending time with them! I had a million pictures to post of them but I know that Tina doesnt want a lot of people to see the photos before she sends out the invites, so i just chose a few to post! I hope you enjoy..

Thankful

I dont write a whole lot of personal blogs because I dont think Im a very good writer but everyonce in a while you have to jump out of your comfort zone. right? I am so overwhelmed with the amount of love and support that I get from family and friends! Thanksgiving was this past Thursday and it was wonderful! Holidays are always a little hard on me because I am so far away from my family and rarely get to see them! My Grandma is my favorite person in the whole world and she lives in Oklahoma! My hubby, Jeramy, His family has completley welcomed me into the family and this Thanksgiving I felt less sad and more at home! I shared some "family moments" with them that made me cry a bit just because I really was thankful that God put these people in my life to make up for what I have been missing! God did a pretty good job if I do say so myself! hahaha.
My sister in laws mom taught me how to make her Awesome Deviled Eggs! I cant wait to try and make them on my own!

I met stella awhile back at the Inspire Womens Expo. She is a photgrapher in Maricopa who does a lot of work in casa grande as well. I have missed out on a few opportunitys to work with her on various model shoots that she puts together but hopefully in the near future that can happen!

Happy Sweet Sixteen {Ashley}

I really enjoyed this photo session! Ashley is a sweet girl who just turned the BIG 16! hehe. I have known Ashley for a couple of years now and have known her to be very quiet. Before the shoot I was thinking about how I was going to have to work hard to make her come out of her shell. Nope not at all, She did AWESOME! She worked the camera and listend to instruction so well! I think everyone should get nice pictures of themselves when they turn 16, it was fun to capture Ashley and her personality, we only did a little bit of trespassing.. shhh.. dont tell, haha.

Maternity: Ashley

Ashley and I played basketball together in highschool, and the memory I remember the most is her hitting me in the nose with her elbow when we both went up for the rebound and my nose bleeding everywhere and I was yelling "does it look broken, DOES IT LOOK BROKEN!?" haha I was not happy, but i have forgiven her since!

There is just something special about Prego Belly's. I think that its one of the most beautiful things in this world!! Not only is she pregnant but she is pregnant with TWINS!! How exciting is that?! She is having a baby boy and a baby girl, Sooo Cute!

We took these photos at her Grandparents house who has made this beautiful front yard for them to enjoy. Lots of green grass and tree's. Her Grandpa loves turtles and collecting turtle things. They have 2 Huge turtles that are baby making machines and they had a bunch of little turtles. So of course I had to get a photo.. arent they cute!?!?

This past weekend has been one of my busiest yet. I had a photo job each day and I finished editing the Garner Wedding! I can honestly say that I dont think I have ever spent this much time on my computer and its only going to get worse, worse in a good way! Im getting so much done, but my eyes are killing me from lookin at the computer screen all day long! haha. Really Im just fine and Im looking forward to the next couple of sessions to edit! Garner Wedding Preview

This was my first big wedding that I have photographed. It took place at a beautiful golf course and we had the perfect lighting at the end of evening! Amber had lots of pre-wedding jitters, I could tell that she was trying to keep calm and collected and I think she did an awesome job! She looked beautiful and so so happy!

This post wasnt supposed to take this long to be up on my blog but its been a long couple of weeks! I had 2 big photo jobs one of them being a wedding. After those I thought I came down with the flue and ended up in the hospital for a kidney infection! Yesterday was my first day back to work and im so thankful to be well rested and no longer sick! Trying to get everything back to normal and situated at home and with all the stuff that I have coming up! I have a lot of rescheduling to do!

Moving onto the real reason for this blog post..
Ok, so if you have been on my blog before you most likely have seen this lovely face over and over.. She is one of my best friends and we love going out together and taking photos.. so of course I invited her out on the group photoshoot to model and of course her photos turned out wonderful!

October, October, October... oh how I LOVE YOU! This Arizona weather is wonderful, all the windows are open in the house and im actually a bit cold, which I love! This month is jam packed with many many projects so im going to keep this little blog updated often!

This girl was so natural in front of the camera, she kept telling me, "Angel I need instruction!" but she didnt see all the amazing photos I was capturing with her just being natural! So here are the set of photos that I got of her...

Meet Daniela: Model Shoot 1 of 3

Last Saturday a friend from church and I put together a Group Photoshoot. We picked out 3 models, got a make-up artist and asked another friend to Photograph with us! We chose 2 locations and the day turned out wonderful! It started at my home where we all met for the girls to get there make-up done. When we started shooting it was pretty hott and I was so bummed, I thought the weather was getting cooler, little did I know if we just waited one more week the weather would be PERFECT! Either way we stuck it out and the day was a big success! Im excited to add lots of new Model photos to my portfolio and I really enjoyed hanging out with all you lovely ladies..
I decided to give seperate blog post to each model since otherwise I will have 100 pictures on one blog! haha

Meet Daniela...
Daniela and I had a short time together but I really loved the shots I got of her! The lighting was great and she was a sweet girl to work with.

A few thoughts and Behind the Scenes

This past week I was sent out on another mission to take the Class Act photos for the magazine. This means I have to go to a classroom and take picures of kids working on projects using the magazine! This was my 3rd time doing this and it was a 6th grade class! I sat in the back of the room while the teacher explained the project! I just sat and looked around the room and these kids! They all were so hyper from coming back in from there break. It was really interesting to see how there personalitys were all so different! Some were loud and cracking jokes,some were quiet and would just smile at me. It was just really interesting and I thought, as much as life can be overwhelming at times, I wouldnt ever want to go back and be that age again! There is so much stress of wanting to fit in and wear the right thing and say the right thing. Im thankful to be out of elementary school and thankful to be out of highschool! I havent set foot into a school since I graduated highschool and it was just so interesting being an adult and seeing it from a different perspective! I must have drove my teachers crazy cause I certainly was not one of the quiet ones when I was in school! Just thought I would share some thoughts.

Taylor (Just for Fun)

Taylor and I did this shoot just for fun! There were a few locations that I wanted to try out for an upcoming photoshoot that I will have to tell you more about later!

The first place we went was this old motel built in the 1940s! It was in really good condition for being that old! The owner was really sweet and let us run around the property snapping photos! I just LOVE the blue doors! I cant wait to go back shoot at this location again!

The second place was at the old cougar stadium! I was thinking about doing photos around bleachers and a track! These photos werent what I was picturing in my head but came out just as good as what I was thinking!

This next Saturday im apart of a Big Group Photoshoot! We have a couple models, a couple photographers! There coming to my house to get ready and then we will be heading out to motel and a few other locations! Im really excited about this, its going to be a blast! So stay tuned for that!

Suprise Suprise!!

Tonight a friend suprised me with a painting she did for me! The other day I was telling her about my inspiration wall that I was going to fill with all kinds of art and photography above my computer and today she dropped by with this beautiful painting of a pug puppy! I totally love it! I think its beautiful, and it fits me so well being is how i truly love and adore pug dogs. Here are a few photos of the painting! I cant wait to get it up on my wall.. It will be the first piece of art to start my inspire wall!

A Sad Week with A Good Ending!

AZ Storm had a wonderful turn out! I was going to be posting photos each night of the event on my blog but by the time I had got home I would just hit the couch each night! It was an exhausting long week, with little suprises(not good ones might i add) throughout my day. Saturday was the last day and it was the biggest turn out! I was so thankful to have Sunday and Monday off of work. It was a nice break.
So this past week was really really difficult! I was doing my usual work for the magazine and then going and working extra for a friends mom who needs me every now and then for a couple weeks at a time. So my days were a little longer. Well without going into the HUGE long story of what happened,My puppy ended up getting low blood sugar. She was really weak and tired all the time. I took her to the vet and they told me to make sure to feed her when i get home. So I did and she was totally fine again! Jeramy put up her food a little to early the night before! She had ate all of her food so he didnt give her anymore but he played fetch with her for an hour and she needed more food, and he didnt realize! So that was an easy fix. Well while I was at the vet they said I needed to schedule her vaccination shot soon. So I did for friday. We went in and she got the shot... 10mins after us being home her face had puffed up HUGE! I was in complete panic! I had realized she re-acted to her shot! I grabbed her and we hopped in the car back to the vet! I was a complete mess! I was crying hystericaly cause I thought that it was a good possibility her lungs could close. Thank God that we do not live far from the vet.
They gave her a benadryl and kept her for an hour or so and then she came back home with us. She ended up breaking out with a rash 3 times every 4hrs we would give her childrens benadryl. I checked on her every hour throughout the night! She is doing all better today and I am so thankful! I really got practice this weekend on what its like to be a mom! It was heartbreaking to see my puppy go through that but thankfully she is all better!

Here are 2 photos from the week of AZ Storm. I am in love with pictures of birds and sunsets! Gods creation is Beautiful isnt it? I love being able to capture it with my camera.

I hope everyone had a better week then I did! This weekened has been nice to relax! I have been napping and reading so much. Im almost done with my book. I have a photoshoot on Tuesday so I will have new photos to share with you then!

Arizona Storm!

Arizona Storm is the 1st Annual Christian Music Festival! Its being held in Casa Grande at the BP Ampitheater 820 W. Cottonwood Ln, Casa Grande, AZ! It is FREE admission! September 1st-5th from 6:00pm-8:00pm!

Im really excited about this Event for many reasons! I have been watching everything unfold.. the grass be put in, the stage be built, the artist practice there music! All for Gods Glory! Its going to be a wonderful week! I will be photographing the event, ill be there everynight! Casa Grande Arizona really needed something like that! Really all towns need something like this but I am so very excited its starting in our town and is being hosted by some of my favorite people the Branhams! You may know through Curbside Coffee or Branhams Exterminating!
If you are a local in Casa Grande bring your familys and if your in phoenix or just outside of Casa Grande you should come too! Its going to be a wonderful week of praise and worship for our AMAZING god that we serve!

Kristee's Model Shoot

So excited to post this photoshoot! Kristee is another one of my beautiful friends! Im so blessed to have all these beautiful people around me to photograph all the time! Its funny because Kristee was actually the person to help me find my passion for photography! I was just someone who took photos of objects, sunsets, fields. I never had a real photoshoot with a person, other then just taking random photos of my husband! This was different, We picked out an outfit and location and went out for about an hour or 2 and took photos! After that I was driven and I absolutly loved it! We planned more and Kristee and I have done at least 5 or 6 photoshoots together. Who ever said you can have to many photos of yourself lied! haha. Here is a photo from the first photoshoot that we ever had together and this was with a little point and shoot Canon 5.0...

these photos were take in downtown Casa Grande and at building near the local college CAC. There is interesting History to that building that Kristee was telling me and I am still refusing to believe her! haha.

Busy Girl

Its been a busy time for me right now! We were finishing up the magazine this week so there was lots to be done! I ran around all of downtown Casa Grande the other day getting last minute photos! I cant wait to see it! I think its going to be a good one! I love my job working at the magazine, it couldnt get any better!
This past weekend Jeramy and I did a bunch of work on our home! We finally got some curtains up in the master bedroom and office(we had blinds but no curtains). I re-arranged my office and it looks amazing! I am so happy with it! I now have a dresser so I can hide all my paper work and things that are usually on the desk, now things dont look so cluttered all the time! I now have a little seating area in my office so when I have a client they can sit and look through my portfolio! Bella loves to hang out with me while I work, Here she is after all the re-arranging! She was exhausted!

Model Shoot: Char

It has been super hott out here in Casa Grande for the past couple of months so I havent had many photoshoots because everyone is worried about the heat! Well I decided to ask a friend of mine to do a shoot just because! It has been a while since I had been behind the camera and I was missing it! It was a shoot that was really just thrown together with very little direction or idea of what I was looking for. We stopped at random locations around casa grande and this shoot came out to be one of my favorites that I have done! The lighting was beautiful and Char worked it! Suprisingly the heat wasnt bad at all! We stayed in the shade as much as possible! I cant wait for summer to be over...

Little Activity...

The other day I was itching to be creative! Im not sure how the bright idea popped into my head but I decided to do a little painting! Somehow I thought about this little case that I bought a while back and painted but it was really ugly! I was going to use it for my jewlery or whatever little things I chose to put in it! It didnt turn out the way i wanted it so I stuck it in a drawer and never took it out! Till the other day! I have been in desperate need of a place to keep my bobby pins! I lose them ALL the time and never know where to put them, so they lay around my house everywhere! I decided to re-paint the box and use it to store my bobby pins in it!

Doesnt it go well in my bathroom? I had to mix a few colors to make the blue just right! Im very happy with the turn out! What do you think?

Meet Bella Girl...

She is our adorable, sweet, loving pug dog! While we were in colorado my in-laws picked her up and watched her for us until we got back. Once i opened the door and she came running out I was in love! Seems like anyone and everyone knows I have a HUGE heart for pug dogs! There is just something about them that makes me so happy! lol. I have been wanting one for a very long time and my wish finally came true! We got her at 2 months and we have had her for about a month! So she is 3 months old! She has already grown so much! Here are some more photos! You will be seeing a lot of her on the blog Im sure! I take photos of her just about every day! lol

Colorado Trip Video

Finally getting on the computer! Its been over a month that I have really got work done on the computer! Since we left for Colorado and have been back our lives have been crazy! We have been all over the place! In and Out of town and I was sick the entire week last week just laying on the couch and then I had a wedding to go to this past weekend! So its monday and Im feeling a ton better! I wanted to put together some type of slideshow or video of the photos i took in colorado because there were a lot. I figured out how to make this video and Im so excited that I did! I think it turned out really cute! Let me know what you think and if I should do more of these for future blog post! It took me forever to get this to work and some of the pictures in the video dont look very crisp! Let me know if you know any better ways of doing these videos!

p.s- My next post you get to meet the new addition to our family!yay!

Good Bye Arizona... Hello California...

Jeramy and I leave tommorow for California with our youth group! We are going to CIY (Christ In Youth) Conference for a week!! Its church camp! Andddd I LOVE Church camp! Im very excited about this trip for many reasons but the main reason is when we go to church camp I am in a GOD bubble and Its just where I am most comfortable! I love the kids from the youth group and I love seeing hundreds of teenagers raising there hands during worship! Its such a beautiful thing to see!
